Ring Car Rental is a small, family-run rental company in Reykjanesbær, founded and still run by two brothers. Its office is at Bogatröð 2, about a six-minute drive from Keflavík Airport.
There's no desk in the terminal. A Ring representative meets you in the arrivals hall, by the ATM next to the main exit, and takes you to the office on a free shuttle. The same shuttle brings you back after the return inspection. From June to mid-October, the airport service runs around the clock.
The fleet runs from small cars like the Hyundai i20 to 4x4s such as the Dacia Duster, Suzuki Jimny and Nissan X-Trail, plus a Ford Kuga with a roof tent, a Citroën SpaceTourer and a motorhome. Basic collision and theft cover come with every rental.

Het moment van ophalen na aankomst op de luchthaven duurde vanwege de drukte wat langer, maar dat was voor ons totaal geen probleem aangezien we ruim tijd hadden ingepland. Dit had te maken met de drukte rondom de aanstaande Solar Eclipse. De auto reed geweldig. Op de dag van inleveren hebben we hem nog even door de wasstraat gehaald en konden we de auto vlot inleveren. Met de shuttlebus werden we naar de luchthaven gebracht door een zeer vriendelijke chauffeur.
