See the main sights of the Golden Circle, visit Kerid Crater, and relax at the Blue Lagoon on this full-day small-group minibus tour from Reykjavik, with admission to the Blue Lagoon included.
With your driver guide, you head out on the Golden Circle route.
The first stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with both historical and geological importance. The Althingi parliament was founded here in 930, and you can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Next, you visit Geysir Geothermal Area, home to the Great Geysir, which gave its name to geysers worldwide, and Strokkur Geyser, which erupts every 4 to 16 minutes, shooting hot water high into the sky.
Then you stop at Gullfoss Waterfall, a powerful two-tiered waterfall on the Hvita River.
The last stop on the Golden Circle is Kerid Crater, a volcanic crater lake with maroon, black, and mossy green slopes around turquoise water. Your entrance fee is included.
Finally, you head to the Reykjanes Peninsula to soak in the geothermal water of the Blue Lagoon. Then you return to Reykjavik.
